After months of courtship with Alabama, Centennial DT Jay-nard Bostwick is about to hear the ultimate sales pitch from the face of the Crimson Tide: Nick Saban.
Centennial head coach Ron Parker confirmed Monday that the head man of the defending champion Crimson Tide will make a one-on-one visit to Bostwick on Wednesday, just under two weeks before National Signing Day.
Alabama has amped up its interest in Bostwick in the past few weeks, attempting to meet with the 6'4", 280 lb. blue-chipper "almost every other weekend" according to Parker. Defensive coordinator Kirby Smart was scheduled to be in South Florida to sit down with Bostwick Monday before Saban made the decision to make his mid-week appearance instead.
While meeting face-to-face with a four-time national championship-winning coach who's led Alabama to the last two titles is serious business, Bostwick still considers both Florida and Miami both very much in play for his collegiate services.
Parker says Bostwick, one of the nation's top uncommitted defensive tackle recruits, may make his National Signing Day decision live on ESPN.
