ESPN West Palm's "coach", Chris Kokell, gives a comprehesive film breakdown of high school football prospects across Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
Position: Linebacker/Defensive End
School: Palm Beach Gardens (Class of 2015)
Top 5 Offers: Army, Bryant, Colgate, FIU, Navy
Note: FIU is newest offer.
Where He Excels:
Milord Juste is explosive. High motor. Moves well for a defensive lineman. Great job of scraping down the line on run plays. Keeps his shoulders square on down blocks and fights to make sure he does not get reached. Does a good job of separating himself from blockers. Plus hands. Ability to two-gap or shoot gaps effectively allows coaches to change up schemes. Above average pass rusher. It's obvious he loves to punish quarterbacks and has the speed to chase them down if they try to escape the pocket.
What To Work On:
At his size, Juste needs to go from above average to great at rushing the passer at the next level. To do this it is crucial that Juste works on making his first step quicker. Also, in college, he can't take on the offensive lineman's whole body as much as he does now. Needs to start working on attacking half of the body. Would like to see Judge add more bullets in the chamber, meaning use a variety of moves so he can keep the OL guessing and set him up.
Kokell Film Analysis:
Milord Juste is the spark that gets Palm Beach Gardens' star-studded defense going. After losing their three-year starter at quarterback J.P. Caruso, the Gators will rely on a ground game led by Tommy Monday. Having a defense that will be one of the county's best is paramount. Behind Juste, 2015 LB Tevon Coney and 2016 DB Devin Studstill should be able to flourish. Juste's teammates feed off the energy and enthusiasm in which he plays the game. Has the ability to wreak havoc in the backfield and disrupt opposing offenses. If Juste was a couple inches taller he would be in the mix with the top prospects in the nation. Don't sleep on him though. Judge will be a force this year and then should go on to have a very successful Division I college career.
