The most highly anticipated game of the season lived up to expectations. In a battle between the area's top ranked basketball teams, #1 Grandview Prep topped #2 Palm Beach Lakes 71-68 in a back-and-forth thriller.
Palm Beach Lakes took an 8-point lead into halftime and led by as many as 11 in the 3rd, but were unable to stop a furious Grandview rally.
Star point guard Ivan Canete led the Pride with 23, while senior guard Sean Walsh added 20 points in the win.
